We are friends who design beautiful spaces for kind people.
Our work is grounded in relationships - with our clients, our collaborators, our community, and our climate. We believe in passive sustainability, thoughtful detailing, and a process that is as carefully considered as the outcome. We love what we do, and we think you will too.
about.
Bryan Jacob Samuel NCARB, RA
Owner and Architect
Bryan is an Architect. His designs are context-driven and environmentally-responsive, shaped by an upbringing split across Norway, India, Australia, and the United States. At the heart of his work is a need to create places that feel like home.
Bryan is motivated by conceptually ambitious projects -— like the new double-stacked curved glass elevators for the Space Needle or the world’s first human composting facility -— as well as the pressing challenges of urban housing. He specializes in residential architecture, creating carefully crafted homes, ADUs, and middle housing solutions.
Outside of work, Bryan volunteers his time toward architectural mentorship at the University of Washington and the University of Maryland. When he's off-duty, you can find him riding his motorcycle or plunging into the pristine alpine lakes of the Pacific Northwest.

His focus is on turning complexity into clarity so the firm runs efficiently in the present and resiliently into the future.
Ravi is proud that his work at srs. enables the creation of spaces that connect people and positively impact communities. For him, these are the spaces that matter most - memorable environments that inspire optimism and bring people together.
Outside of work, Ravi refuels with nature and martial arts, carrying that playful spirit and focus back to every project.
